We are seeking compassionate, flexible, and reliable Bank Support Workers to join our team across 4 services in Caerphilly and Newport
. A driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are looking for flexible working arrangements while making a meaningful impact on people’s lives. The hours can vary including 12 hour shifts, evening shifts, waking nights and sleep in shifts which will include some weekends.
Please note a full 8 day induction will need to be completed prior to picking up shifts.
As a Bank Support Worker, you’ll provide essential support to adults with a range of needs, including learning disabilities. You’ll be supporting individuals in supported living setting. You’ll be working closely with individuals to provide person‑centred care, empowering them to build daily living skills, maintain routines, and take part in meaningful activities within the community.
Key Responsibilities:- Attending appointments and social activities
- Daily living tasks such as cooking, shopping, and cleaning
- Managing mental health and well‑being
- Developing confidence, independence, and life skills
- Safeguarding the health, wellbeing, and rights of the people we support.
- Work flexibly across various services in Caerphilly and Newport, sometimes at short notice.
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities or mental health needs
- Empathy, patience, and a commitment to person‑centred care
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- A valid driving licence and access to a car
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and sleep‑ins (where required).

- Rates of pay are £12.82 per hour, Waking night £13.32 (11pm – 7am) mileage payable at HMRC rate
This is a bank role with no fixed hours. You’ll be contacted when shifts become available and have the option to accept or decline based on your availability. All offers of employment are subject to an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
