Health Visitor

The Health Visitor contributes to the development of new projects and policies within the health visiting service and is involved in the research, implementation and evaluation of evidence‑based practice.

The post holder will be responsible for providing universal, enhanced and intensive Health Visiting services to children and families from all cultural backgrounds on their caseload. Health Visitors work as a team across locally defined areas and support the service across Gwent to provide a safe service for all preschool children and their families.

You will join our team at White Rose Medical Centre in New Tredegar, delivering an Early Years Health Visiting programme to families living within the North Caerphilly area.

The successful candidate will have the relevant qualification, professionalism and clinical skills necessary to work on their own initiative as well as working effectively in partnership with parents/carers and other services such as Early Years Services, Primary Care, Children Services and School Nursing.
