General Operator

We are currently looking for General Operators to join a well-established manufacturing facility located in Penalta, South Wales. This is a full-time, long-term opportunity ideal for reliable and motivated individuals interested in hands-on work within a busy production environment.

You will be part of a team involved in the manufacture of heat exchangers, working on various stages of the production process including brazing, assembly, and press machine operation. Previous experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Salary: £12.21 per h

Shifts:

Fixed 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday)  7.45am-6pm,- enjoy a 3-day weekend

Main

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate equipment and tools used in the production of heat exchangers

Carry out manual and semi-automated assembly tasks

Operate press machines and assist in metal-forming operations

Perform brazing and other joining processes (training provided)

Follow technical instructions, job sheets, and quality standards

Carry out inspections to ensure products meet required specifications

Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Adhere to all health and safety regulations

Carry out any other reasonable duties as directed by team leaders or management
