Forklift Driver​/Yard Worker

Manpower is recruiting a Forklift Driver / Yard Person on behalf of our client.
Days:
Monday to Friday

Hours:

7.30 am - 4.30 am (30 minute unpaid break and 2 x 15 minute paid break)

Contract:

Temporary, ongoing. This vacancy has the potential to become permanent.

Location:

Caerphilly

Our client provides support across dewatering and sewerage pump applications, offering advice, servicing, maintenance and repair. They also supply a wide range of hoses, settlement tanks and water processing solutions.

As a Forklift Truck Driver you will:

• keep all areas clean and tidy each day and ensure any equipment leaving the site is checked and maintained to a high standard.
• Load/unload vehicles using a forklift truck
• You will also handle the delivery and collection of pump equipment to and from customers, providing a reliable and professional service.

• The work involves being outdoors in cold weather and other conditions, so you will need to be comfortable working outside throughout the year.
• Experience in a similar role, ideally within a hire depot or yard environment
• Accredited Forklift license from an industry-recognised body dated within the last 3 years.
• Previous experience using Forklift Truck required
• Valid UK Driving Licence
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Understanding of health and safety requirements and the ability to follow these in a busy workplace
• Strong customer service skills with good attention to detail
