Join a global leader in petrochemical valve and actuation systems — now driving innovation in  green hydrogen electrolyzer technologies .
IMI Remosa , part of  IMI Group , specializes in the design and manufacturing of valves, actuators, and hydraulic control systems for refinery and petrochemical plants.
As part of our strategic expansion, we are developing and industrializing  water electrolyzers for green hydrogen production , integrating  electro-hydraulic systems, electrical control, and PLC-based automation .

We are looking for a PLC Programmer to join our Engineering Department in Uta (Cagliari, Sardinia), contributing to the  automation and control of industrial electrolyzer systems .

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement PLC programs for  electro-hydraulic and electrolyzer systems

• Troubleshoot PLC software and hardware in  industrial hydrogen production equipment

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to integrate PLC systems into  electrolyzer skids and related subsystems

• Prepare technical documentation for production, testing, assembly, and customers

• Provide technical support and training to staff and clients as needed

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations,  including those for hydrogen process plants

• Perform field service work at international locations

Requirements

• High school diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field

• Strong experience in PLC programming

• Knowledge of hydraulic systems and control technologies

• Basic understanding of industrial process plants or energy systems is a plus

• Good command of English, written and spoken

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Willingness to travel internationally
