Senior Accountant – Public Practice (Calgary, AB)

Fully in-office, downtown Calgary

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a dynamic public practice firm that serves a diverse portfolio of small to mid-sized businesses, charities, and not-for-profit organizations. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of engagements in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

• Independently manage compilation engagements from start to finish
• Prepare a wide range of tax returns (personal, corporate, trust, partnership, charitable) and related filings
• Work on audit and review engagements (primarily ASPE and ASNPO)
• Prepare tax slips (T3, T4, T4A, T5, T5018) and supplemental filings

• 3–5 years of experience in public practice accounting
• Minimum 500 audit assurance hours
• Strong knowledge of taxation (T1, T2, T3 at minimum)
• Proficiency with Case Ware and tax preparation software (Pro File, Jazz It); experience with Quick Books, Xero, or Sage is an asset
