Junior Accountant

Join a top employer and advance your career. Aplin has partnered with a Calgary-based company to hire a Junior Accountant for a 6-month contract!

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with basic accounting tasks such as accounts payable/receivable.
• Recording financial transactions in ledgers.
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements.
• Handling routine queries from clients or vendors.
• Supporting senior accountants in various financial activities.
• Reconciling bank statements and other financial documents.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team.
• Prior internship or entry-level accounting experience preferred.
