Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join their team for a contract role in Calgary, Alberta. The position involves high-volume invoice processing, accurate reconciliations, and maintaining strong vendor relationships in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process, match, code, and obtain approval for invoices in accordance with company policies.
  • Execute bi-weekly payment runs (EFTs and wire transfers).
  • Manage vendor inquiries and maintain positive working relationships.
  • Prepare journal entries, accruals, and perform account reconciliations.
  • Analyze reports to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support system testing and transitions as required.
  • Use Excel for data analysis and basic reporting.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to achieve departmental objectives.
