Partner at Tritan Group – Delivering Tailor‑made Recruitment solutions Position Summary
TRITAN Group is working with a well‑established commercial property management firm in Calgary to find an experienced Property Accountant to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities- Full‑cycle accounting, including AP, AR, reconciling bank statements, financial reporting, and budget and audit preparation
- Administer and review Gross and Net leases and update Rent Rolls
- Prepare monthly financial statements and provide variance analysis
- Prepare and process annual CAM reconciliation & recoveries
- Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure accurate and timely remittance
Create annual budgets in coordination with the Property Managers, BODs, and owners - Report on variances and prepare monthly account reconciliations
- Prepare tax schedules and file GST returns
- Prepare and coordinate internal and external audit processes
- Process invoices, including matching coding invoices to comply with budget schedules, and compiling and verifying batches
- A minimum of 3–5 years of property accounting experience required
- A formal accounting degree or diploma is required
- Proficient with accounting software such as SPECTRA or Yardi Voyageur
- MS Office experience is required
