We currently have a Project Coordinator COOP opportunity for talented and creative students or recent graduates. We are looking for motivated, multi‑faceted technically inclined students or recent graduates who enjoy working on a wide variety of tasks, are quick to learn, and are keen to make a significant contribution to a successful and growing company. Our career opportunities offer creative challenges to learn and develop new skills and experiences.
This is a 12‑18 month COOP term beginning May 2026 at our Calgary office.
Overview of Responsibilities- Work with project managers for reporting and gathering of information.
- Assist with site contract document control.
- Coordinate with general contractors to align priorities and activities.
- Support various meetings with subcontractors and clients.
- Assist in managing and monitoring a construction schedule.
- Communicate and relay information between office personnel and field staff.
- Support project managers, coordinators and foremen on various other projects as requested.
- Working towards a university degree or college diploma in a related field such as Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical Engineering or equivalent education.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills with hands‑on working knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Team player, energetic, resourceful, reliable and timely.
- Eager to work and learn in a fast‑paced industry.
- Comfortable working on a construction job site or office setting.
- Related work experience is an asset, including from other COOP placements, internships, or projects.
- Experience in the construction industry is a strong asset but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of plumbing and HVAC systems is an asset but not necessary.
- A vehicle is desirable as the successful candidate may have to drive to various job sites.
- Working at Heights Certificate is not mandatory; training will be provided.
