DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

As a Construction Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind multiple rebuild and restoration projects. You’ll plan and organize schedules, assign crews, and keep every phase of work moving with precision and purpose. You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Estimators, and Supervisors to align priorities, solve challenges, and keep timelines on track. You’ll visit job sites, review progress, and make quick decisions that keep quality high and work flowing.

You’ll lead by example, motivating your teams to take pride in their work and maintain the highest standards of safety and performance. Each day, your leadership, decisiveness, and focus on results will bring projects to completion and strengthen team success.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of construction or restoration experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Diploma, trade certification, or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of construction management, scheduling, and safety requirements
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and maintain attention to detail
  • Skilled communicator with strong problem‑solving and organizational skills
  • Experience leading and motivating teams to achieve high‑quality results
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mobile applications
  • IICRC certifications an asset
  • Valid full class driver’s license and clear driver’s abstract
