The successful candidate will have:
Leadership skills, with proven ability to develop, mentor, and manage project teams.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build relationships and collaborate with clients and contractors.Strong decision-making skills and demonstrated facilitation/negotiation skills to resolve issues relating to design proposals, payment progress claims, fee determination, and construction contract delays or extra cost claims.Excellent consultation, negotiation and conflict management skills to deal effectively with complex and sensitive issues involving diverse stakeholders with potentially conflicting perspectives and requirements.Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.Time management and organizational skills while working on multiple interrelated projects with multiple stakeholders and competing deadlines to provide timely feedback and decision making.Strong project planning and management skills.Excellent writing skills required for generating reports and communications for internal and external stakeholders.Strong skills and experience related to the design, construction, and renovation phases of large building infrastructure projects using Construction Management and Design Build delivery methods.Active participation in managing the timely review of design and construction submittals as well as various construction and commissioning site reviews.
