Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our Calgary office. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in architectural design, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

Lead technical design and detailing of projects from developed design through construction documentation.

Employ a range of software tools including AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard or specialized software to produce detailed drawings and models.

Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals.

Proactively manage tasks and deadlines, demonstrating ownership and accountability.

Contribute to the practice's culture of learning and growth, sharing knowledge and supporting the professional development of the team.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field.

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and willingness to adapt to and learn new software as needed.

Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and construction methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through challenges independently.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a tight-knit team.
