This is a full-time on-site role for a community Psychiatrist located in Calgary, AB.
This role will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and helping to prevent mental disorders in patients.
Key tasks include:
- Conducting patient assessments
- Providing inpatient and outpatient care
- Offering crisis intervention
- Developing individualized treatment plans, and
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
The Psychiatrist will participate in continuing education and training activities as required.
Qualifications- Medical degree and specialist training
- Psychiatry Skills in Psychiatry, Psychiatric Care, and Mental Health Experience or specialization in General Adult Psychiatry
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare team environment
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
- Valid medical license to practice in Alberta
Salary:
Fee for Service Avg ($450,000 to $550,000)
