They are currently seeking a Production Team Lead to oversee construction operations, ensure timelines and quality standards are met, and lead a dedicated team toward delivering exceptional results. In your role, you will be playing an integral part in the success of thepany, through effective leadership, innovative ideas, and nurturing the production team. You will oversee the production of working drawings and plot plans, ensuringpliance with building codes, land-use bylaws, andpany standards, as well as independently drafting lot-specific drawing packages with precision. Your responsibilities include managing project workflows, production schedules, and reporting, conducting annual performance reviews and development planning, and providing onboarding and ongoing training to align withpany and industry standards.You will support the peer review process, maintain and update the general plan library for codepliance, and collaborate with internal and external partners to streamline drafting processes. Additionally, you will conduct regular site visits for hands-on training, assist estimating and construction teams with technical guidance, and contribute to the development of new home models and updates to construction details.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have a Diploma in Architectural Technology or a related field. Ideally you will possess a minimum of 5 years in architectural design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role. Prior experience working with a production home builder is a strong asset. You will be proficient with AutoCAD. You will have a proven ability to lead, develop and inspire a team.You will also have excellent verbal and writtenmunication, with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients (internal & external). You must possess sound knowledge of local buildings codes and bylaws.
What you'll get in return
