Job Description
We are looking to hire a Manufacturing Automation Engineer immediately who has experience in design, development, and implementation of cutting‑edge automation solutions along with Aerospace industry experience.
Role Overview
Looking for candidates who can support the establishment of a greenfield, highly automated manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is a skilled and innovative engineer to lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting‑edge automation solutions from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
- Study the current manufacturing line in collaboration with industrial engineers and the Manufacturing & Quality teams to develop current layout and process details.
- Participate and coordinate with cross‑functional teams for USR/proposal request development.
- Coordinate with contract manufacturers for business case proposals and preliminary assessments.
- Plan, monitor, and manage automation projects from concept to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time.
- Support and coordinate the integration of various automation components, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks to create a seamless and efficient manufacturing process.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements from the initial design phase.
- Oversee the installation, testing, commissioning, and start‑up of new automated equipment and systems in the greenfield site.
- Collaborate with the compliance team to ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company quality requirements.
- Consistent reporting to leadership and cross‑functional teams on the status of each project, including challenges and risk mitigation plans.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Graduation required.
- Strong analytical and creative problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Adaptability and a commitment to continuous learning to keep up with new technologies.
