Scott Springfield Mfg. Inc. (“SSM”) is a tier-1 supplier that offers scalable air handling solutions for commercial and industrial customers across North America. SSM’s owners and leadership team have intentionally created a workplace culture that puts customers first, and values teamwork, innovation and accountability. Supported by a network of independent sales agents across North America, SSM operates two production facilities within the Calgary area.

To support its growth and expansion, SSM is looking to add Quality Engineers to the team.

• Be actively involved in quality planning (Control Plans, APQP, FMEA, PPAP, Gauging).
• Initiate and participate in 8D Problem solving meetings with customers, suppliers or internal. Conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
• Tracking quality-related metrics and communicating the results to all levels of the organization.
• Participating in the internal audit program and leading the corrective actions.
• Analyzing non-conformances, and customer feedback to focus on reliability improvement in all required areas.
• Analyze vendor quality performance ang engage in various improvement and corrective actions. Setting up vendor audit schedules and performing vendor audits, as required.
• Implementing statistical analysis based on manufacturing tolerances to identify week points and non-conformances.

• Post-secondary education in engineering, manufacturing or quality-assurance.
• 3+ years’ experience in a quality-related role within a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge with various analytical quality processes.
• Familiarity with ISO
  9001 implementation.
• Strong proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
• Proficiency in problem solving and critical decision making.
