Réalis is in search of a Project Controls Lead to join our growing team. This position is based in Calgary, Alberta
. The Project Controls Lead will be part of a high‑performing project team that is dedicated to delivering this complex undertaking through collaboration and a best‑for‑project vision.
- Lead the development and management of project controls frameworks (cost, schedule, risk, change).
- Oversee planning/scheduling, cost engineering, estimating, and reporting functions.
- Collaborate with PMO and project managers to ensure alignment with delivery goals.
- Monitor and report on project performance, including baseline adherence and variance analysis.
- Support governance and performance meetings with structured reporting.
- Guide quantitative risk analysis and contingency planning.
- Ensure integration of project controls with planning and delivery disciplines.
- Provide technical advice and mentorship to junior staff.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- A minimum of 5+ years of experience within project controls, ideally leading transit or infrastructure projects.
- Experience with delivery partner models or public‑private partnerships (P3).
- Proficiency in tools such as Primavera P6, MS Project, Power BI, Aconex.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to manage complex relationships and drive performance in high‑pressure environments.
