We are experiencing significant growth across our Western Canada offices, offering new and exciting complex projects that you will have the opportunity to shape and contribute to. We are looking for a 16-month civil engineering intern within our Infrastructure sector. You will work on diverse land development projects across the Alberta region, benefiting from a robust mentorship network to support your professional growth.

Main Responsibilities

• Contribute to city-building projects by providing engineering support for Area Structure Plans and Outline Plans.
• Support feasibility studies to assist clients with development opportunities and land acquisition.
• Learn to apply software tools for site grading and servicing, including cut/fill balances, water supply, sanitary systems, stormwater management, shallow utilities, noise impact assessments and erosion control.
• Contribute to project coordination involving shallow utilities, geotechnical, stormwater, and environmental components.
• Gain hands on experience with on-site observation during active construction.
• Coordinate with surveyors, contractors, and municipal representatives.
• Review construction drawings, grade sheets, and construction specifications.
• Support engagement and gain exposure with clients, municipalities and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in quality assurance and quality control reviews to ensure deliverables meet high standards.

The salary for this position ranges from $24.15 to $30.45 per hour, depending on your academic profile, the number of credits earned, and your previous co-op or internship experience. The final offer and salary may be adjusted based on your unique profile.
