The Physio Therapist assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates physical therapy aimed at restoring and maintaining residents' independence, preventing disability, and enabling purposeful engagement within their environment.

• Assess and reassess residents to identify issues and rehabilitation needs.
• Establish goals, develop, and document individual care and treatment plans.
• Maintain communication with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent care.
• Maintain residents’ statistics.
• Develop, review, and update policies for the Rehab Department.
• May supervise employees or volunteers.
• Ensure a safe working environment with proper equipment and conditions.

• Graduate of an approved Canadian school of Physiotherapy.
• Member in good standing with the Alberta College of Physiotherapists.
• AADL Authorizer status is an asset.
• Experience with MDS and/or RAI.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrates Age Care’s values with empathy and professionalism.
• Good organization and time management skills.
