Opportunity

As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team to deliver resident care. Under the supervision of a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide safe and thorough basic care and services to residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work within your full scope of practice to provide resident-focused care.
  • Observe residents for changes in status and share observations for care plan updates.
  • Assist residents with mobility and participate in community functions.
  • Report unsafe activities that may cause harm.
    • Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide certificate course and registration in the Health Care Aide Directory.
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Strong planning, follow-up, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and remain flexible in a demanding environment.
  • Demonstrates Age Care values with an empathetic attitude.
