McAtee Psychology is a collaborative private practice in SW Calgary, providing counselling and assessment services to both neurotypical and neurodivergent children, teens, and adults.
We are currently seeking a Registered Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist, or Registered Social Worker to join our team and grow our clinical services.
About the Role As a Trauma Therapist at McAtee Psychology, you will provide counselling and support to clients navigating a wide range of mental health challenges, with a strong emphasis on body-focused and somatic therapeutic practices.
We are seeking a clinician who specializes in body-focused approaches to help clients process trauma, regulate their nervous system, and reconnect with a sense of safety and presence.

Key responsibilities include:
Providing individual counselling services to clients within your scope of practice Working with the marketing team to promote your services and build your caseload Maintaining a working knowledge of all services provided by McAtee Psychology Contribute to program development and the growth of somatic-informed services within our clinic
Qualifications:
Master’s Degree or higher in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
Provisional or Full Registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP) Current registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW) .
Experience :
Minimum 2 years experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma Training in one or more of the following:
Somatic Experiencing, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Hakomi, ART/EMDR, or other body-focused/somatic approaches Experience working with substance abuse, addictions, and substance misuse will be an asset
