Position: Intermediate Automation Developer (Jest, Playwright) to build and maintain automated testing code for a custom

Our Calgary client is looking for an Intermediate Automation Developer (Jest, Playwright) to build and maintain automated testing code for a custom developed application.

* 4 days a week onsite in downtown Calgary office required*

Must Haves:

5+ years' as a Test Automation Developer
, with hands-on experience building automation testing infrastructure and test harnesses

Knowledge and experience creating test automation scripts using Playwright or Jest

Python scripting experience

Strong understanding and experience with an agile software development life cycle
.

Experience working with modern web applications, and are familiar with technologies such as JavaScript, React

JS!, Node.js, Jenkins, Docker, Azure, Jira, Git Hub and architecture styles such as Microservices.

Job Responsibilities:

Perform both automated and manual tests and verify bugs as part of an Agile Scrum team.

Develop automated tests (UI, API, e2e, Performance) and integrate into a CI/CD environment

Write high-quality automation testing code that is clean, readable and maintainable.

Participate in the introduction of emerging technologies and development tools under the guidance of enterprise architects and technical leads.
