Our Calgary client is looking for a Cloud Security Architect with Microsoft Defender experience to address architectural and operational limitations within the Azure cloud environment.
* 4 days onsite in downtown Calgary office*
Must Have:
8+ years' experience as a Cloud Security ArchitectHands-on experience configuring, deploying, and managing Microsoft Defender for Cloud across hybrid environmentsExperience with Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Policy ManagementExperience with Sentinel setup, use cases, and integration with Defender for CloudNice to have:
Understanding standards like ISO , NIST, CIS benchmarks, and audit readiness.Understanding Azure networking components (NSGs, firewalls, Express Route, DNS).Familiarity with private endpoints and zero-trust architectureKey Contributions Expected:
Define a consistent framework for Defender for Cloud.Align security posture with regulatory standards and governance goals.Support secure workload expansion and collaboration between security and operations.Provide recommendation for Sentinel improvements.
