Our client is looking for a Sr. Network Engineer to support a client and the team working 1 day a week (Part Time). The day is Flexible
- Could turn Full Time after June.
Overview
We are seeking a Network Engineer to provide day-to-day operational support within a Cisco-based network environment. This role is primarily operational, focused on maintaining and supporting routing and switching infrastructure, with occasional involvement in project work. The successful candidate will work closely with the TAQA IT team and act as a key support resource supplementing existing LVS network resources.
Must Have's:
5+ years as a Network EngineerExperience supporting enterprise route/switch environmentsStrong operational experience in Cisco networ
k environments (specific platforms and technologies may vary).Solid understanding of LAN/WAN networking concepts, including TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols, and switching.Ability to troubleshoot network issues in a structured and methodical manner.Key Responsibilities
Provide day-to-day operational support for enterprise network infrastructure, with a focus on routing and switching.Support and maintain Cisco-based network environments, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and change implementation.Work collaboratively with the TAQA IT team to ensure network stability, performance, and availability.Assist with network monitoring, fault identification, and root cause analysis.Participate in occasional network-related projects, including upgrades, enhancements, or documentation activities.Follow established operational processes, standards, and change management procedures.Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues and provide updates.Contribute to knowledge sharing and documentation to support operational excellence.Nice to Have
Exposure to network-related project work, even if infrequent.Experience working alongside managed service providers or supplemental network resources.Relevant Cisco certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP) are advantageous but not required.
