Job Description:One of our Public Sector client is looking for a QA Automation Tester for a Contract opportunity in Regina
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities:
Write and maintain performance test plansGather performance testing requirements (understand realistic system load, identify bottlenecks, etc.) and automated functional testing requirementsProvide testing task estimatesDesign performance tests for various performance tests types (baseline/shakeout test, load test, capacity test, endurance test, etc.)Design, create and maintain automated functional test scripts and automated functional test frameworksDesign, create and maintain load generation test scripts and load generation infrastructureExecute and monitor performance and automated functional testsAnalyze performance test results and work with development and technical teams to pinpoint problem quires, functions, etc.Produce status reports and final test phase reportsMentor and train test project resources as requiredDocument technology testing best practicesMandatory
Experience:
Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts using HP Vu Gen Experience designing, executing and maintaining performance tests for various performance tests types (baseline/shakeout test, load test, capacity test, endurance test, etc.) using HP Load RunnerExperience gathering performance testing requirements (understand realistic system load, identify bottlenecks, etc.) and benchmarksExperience analyzing performance test results and working with development and technical teams to pinpoint problem quires, functions, etc.Experience creating, executing and maintaining automated test scripts and test frameworks using HP QTP/UFTExperience creating status reports, test run analysis reports and final test phase reportsExperience leading defect meetingsMinimum 5 years of testing experience with at least 3 years of experience as a performance test lead and automated functional test leadDesired :
