Position: Intermediate Network Analyst with Cisco and Palo Alto experience for to support day to day operations and maintenance
Our client is seeking an Intermediate Network Analyst with Cisco and Palo Alto experience for to support day to day operations and maintenance support
Local Calgary candidates only:
Hybrid work - in office as required, occasional on-call and travel within AB and BC
Must Have:
At least 5+ years as a Network Analyst providing day to day operational support including network monitoring, configuration, performance management and trouble shootingExperience with enterprise level Cisco equipment with a specific focus on routing (IOS-XE, IOS, NX-OS, BGP, OSPF, DMVPN),
switching (IOS-XE, IOS and NX-OS)Experience with Palo Alto and Palo Alto Panorama firewall managementExperience with configuration builds and troubleshooting communications protocols (Satellite, cellular, wireless, WiFi (Cisco Meraki), T1s, MPLS, BGP protocol)Preference giving to candidate supporting operations in a Pipeline or Oil and Gas organizationNice to Have:
Experience supporting OT/ICS/SCADA an assetSecurity designations and certifications relating to networking and cyber security. (CCNP/CCIE preferred)Responsibilities include:
Core areas of responsibility include network monitoring, configuration, performance management, break/fix support, delivery of projects with network requirements, lifecycle management of network assets, and support of cyber securityMaintain networking systems and related infrastructure and software by deploying security patches, updating software and firmware, and troubleshooting and resolving issues related to networking and communications infrastructure, including cyber security incidents.Perform lifecycle management of operating network infrastructure information assets, including effectiveness assessment of assets, upgrades, replacement, decommissioning and configuration management.Responsible for networking infrastructure, including configuration, setup, implementation, testing and optimization of assets. This includes all hardware, software, equipment and security configurations and related assets and services required to enable the network.Manage network integrity, performance and reliability by monitoring and testing services for capacity, performance, and efficiency.Support Disaster Recovery and cyber security preparedness and testing.
