What You’ll Do

Reporting to the National Director, Marketing & Business Development, the Manager, Marketing Operations & Technology will be responsible for:

  • Technology Leadership & Innovation: Champion the adoption and optimization of marketing technology platforms, including CRM, workflow and intake solutions. Continuously explore, evaluate, and implement new tools—especially AI-powered solutions—to improve efficiency, automate processes, and drive innovation across marketing operations.
  • Process Optimization: Lead efforts to streamline workflows, manage requests and responses, and document service processes. Use technology to identify bottlenecks, enhance productivity, and deliver measurable improvements in operational efficiency.
  • CRM Oversight: Direct the implementation, communication, and enhancement of the firm’s CRM framework. Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance (CASL) and support CRM automation workflows to enhance lawyer engagement and business development processes.
  • Data Collection & Reporting: Oversee data collection and reporting through the firm’s systems, developing dashboards and custom reports to visualize key metrics and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Continuous Improvement: Foster a culture of curiosity and ongoing learning, encouraging the team to seek out new technologies, best practices, and process improvements that elevate the firm’s marketing capabilities.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, develop, and coach a high-performance team, supporting individual objectives and overall department goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with lawyers, marketing and business development staff, and other internal stakeholders to support business development, client engagement, and adoption of new technologies
  • What You'll Bring

  • Minimum 7–10 years’ experience in marketing operations, technology, or business development within a professional services environment
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience leading a marketing team
  • Proven experience with CRM platforms, workflow management tools (Intapp Flow), and data visualization/reporting (Power

    BI, Tableau)
  • Demonstrated curiosity and drive for continuous improvement, with a track record of evaluating and implementing innovative technology solutions
  • Strong understanding of data governance, compliance (CASL, GDPR), and process documentation
  • Experience with AI-powered solutions for marketing or CRM enhancement is a strong asset
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lead and coach a team, set direction, and establish priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CRM systems, analytical and marketing automation tools
