** Federated Insurance Underwriters customize solutions for our commercial clients when they need insurance products. They work closely with our Commercial Insurance Specialists to develop unique solutions for all classes of risk.

Our Underwriters are passionate about maintaining strong relationships with our Commercial Insurance Specialists – this means emails and phone calls don’t go unanswered, and they provide an excellent underwriting experience. They also pay attention to the smallest of details, work closely with our Actuarial and Claims Departments, Risk Services and they could probably help hostages with their elite negotiation skills. Through executing individual pricing and risk selection decisions they are responsible for the evaluation, selection, negotiation and pricing for the assigned portfolios.

*** Commercial Underwriting
* Sales & Negotiation
* Strong conflict resolution skills
* Relationship building
* Report writing skills and commitment to precision
* Risk Management
* Customer Service skills
** If you have:
*** Min. 2-5 years of Underwriting experience within Property/Casualty
* Broad knowledge of pricing models and underwriting disciplines
* Completed, or pursuing your CIP, FCIP, or RPLU designations
* Demonstrated strong client, CIS, and portfolio management skills
