The Maintenance Technician will supervise the safe operation and maintenance of the facility’s high‑pressure steam system, maintain steam system and utility documentation, monitor facility utility services, develop preventative maintenance programs, complete or facilitate preventative maintenance, lead troubleshooting and repair of equipment, manage inventory of critical spare parts, conduct general upkeep, survey buildings and repair mechanical systems, participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training, maintain a clean and safe work environment, and perform manual repairs when necessary.

• Supervise the safe operation and maintenance of the facility high pressure steam system.
• Complete and maintain all steam system and utility documentation required for regulatory purposes.
• Monitor and maintain all facility utility services (HVAC, compressed air, water treatment, future refrigeration system).
• Develop and maintain preventative maintenance program software for process and utility equipment.
• Complete or facilitate preventative maintenance of all process and utility equipment.
• Lead troubleshooting and repair of equipment as required to maximize operating efficiency of facility.
• Manage inventory of critical spare parts on site.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Survey buildings and repair mechanical systems to ensure they are consistent with health and safety standards.
• Participate in ongoing technical, safety, and operational process training programs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks etc.).
