The janitor is responsible for cleaning all hard floor surfaces, carpets, washrooms, common areas, offices, and managing garbage collection and removal. Additional duties may be assigned.

Monday-Friday, 5:30 PM - 9:00 PM

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, stairs, and other surfaces inside buildings.
• Perform stripping, waxing, steam cleaning carpets, and window cleaning upon request.
• Clean windowsills, interior glass, and doors.
• Wash interior walls and glass surfaces daily.
• Clean and restock bathrooms daily, including wiping glass, emptying waste, and cleaning fixtures.
• Assist supervisors as needed.
• Monitor and report defects like clogged urinals or broken lights.
• Work between two buildings, including showers across the street.
• Collect and dispose of building trash daily, replace liners.
• Perform high dusting and wall washing.
• Handle heavy-duty tasks like using heavy machinery, lifting up to 50 lbs, and changing garbage.

• Ability to follow directions, work independently, and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with cleaning tools and equipment.
• Own transportation is required.
• Attention to detail, pride in service, organization, energy, and endurance.

Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
