The PCBA Soldering Technician is responsible for performing soldering and assembly tasks on electronic components and circuit boards according to industry standards and company specifications. This role ensures high‑quality workmanship and supports production schedules by maintaining efficiency and accuracy.

Responsibilities
  • Perform hand soldering of through‑hole and surface‑mount components on PCBs.
  • Inspect solder joints and assemblies for quality and compliance with specifications.
  • Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Operate soldering equipment and tools safely and effectively.
  • Perform rework and repair of PCBs as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with ESD and safety protocols.
  • Document work performed and report any defects or process issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance and engineering teams to resolve technical issues.
Skills / Qualifications / Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electronics or soldering preferred.
  • Minimum 1‑2 years of experience in PCB assembly and soldering.
  • Proficiency in hand soldering techniques for both SMT and through‑hole components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
  • Knowledge of ESD handling procedures.

Note:

On-site physical solder test will be part of the interview process.
