Location:

2234 Portland St SE, Calgary, Alberta.

• Perform all Casing Functions in accordance with Scott Springfield’s Manufacturing Standards.
• Perform the above tasks, and any other tasks assigned, in a safe manner and in accordance with our Health & Safety Policies, JHA’s & SWP’s.
• Understand and follow all Company Policies and Rules.

• Grade 12 education or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Demonstrate organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Exhibit safe work practices.
• Willingness to work in other areas of the facility as required.
• Ability to work overtime on weekdays and weekends when required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
• Effective communication with co‑workers, team leads, supervisors, engineering, quality and health & safety.
• Comfortable working in loud environments (hearing protection required).
• Steel‑toed boots (CSA‑approved, 6 inches in height or greater) required.
• Comfortable working at heights (fall protection training provided).
• General understanding of engineering and sheet‑metal principles.
• Ability to use various hand & power tools (drills, grinders, chop saws, band saws, measuring tape, etc.).
• Health & safety requirement – respirator use:
  This position may involve tasks requiring the use of a respirator. In accordance with occupational health and safety standards, all employees must be clean‑shaven where the respirator seals to the face to ensure proper fit and protection. Compliance with this requirement is mandatory for employment in this role.
