The Asset Protection Partner protects store assets against theft and works with leadership to maintain controls and reduce shrinkage.
Duties and Responsibilities- Loss Prevention: Provide professional service to clients; conduct surveillance on sales floor and CCTV; adhere to laws and SEPHORA policies; prepare reports on theft incidents, recoveries, investigations, and audits; develop relationships with internal partners, law enforcement, mall security and other retailers; testify in court; provide new hire and continuous employee training.
- Operations: Conduct store self-audits, checklists and safety inspections; communicate findings to store leadership and District Loss Prevention Manager; assist with inventory preparation and process; partner with stores and DLPM on shrinkage prevention plans; meet required minimum weekly shifts/hours:
Full Time 30-40 hrs/week;
Part Time 16-20 hrs/week.
- 1 year of asset protection/loss prevention experience in retail.
- Maintain all licensing requirements (province or local jurisdiction).
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and coach on loss prevention techniques.
- Proficiency in Windows, Word and Excel desirable.
- A High School graduate or equivalent.
- Availability to work flexible hours, evenings, weekends, holidays.
- Availability to work at multiple locations within a market.
- Work in a fragrance-filled environment.
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Bend and stretch to stock shelves.
