Ski tech​/sales associate

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales/rental shop is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ski/Snowboard knowledge, understanding of skiing and snowboarding industry preferred.
• Attention to detail is needed when equipment fitting, setting bindings and completing paperwork accurately.
• Experience with merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility.
• Ability to perform product demonstrations to engage customers effectively.
• This team member must be reliable, punctual and motivated.
• The physical demands of this job can include standing, walking and kneeling for long periods of time with some occasional heavy lifting.

• Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with their shopping needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Maintain knowledge of products to effectively sell and provide product demos.
• Assisting with retail sales and shop upkeep.
• Outfitting customers with correct ski or snowboard equipment, sets bindings and explaining safe usage.
• Managing equipment rentals, maintaining the fleet through cleaning & basic repairs, handling customer forms.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when handling customer inquiries.
