Responsibilities for a Commercial Security Shift Supervisor

• Review all submitted team incident reports for quality assurance.

• Liaise with client, contractors, tenants, emergency services.

• Review and export of CCTV footage using digital CCTV systems.

• Providing excellent costumer service to various tenants.

• Provide first aid and basic life safety in an emergency situation.

• Must be able to cover a guards shift on a as needed basis

• Coordinating day to day operations to the site supervisor

• Responsible for ensuring that security licenses are up to date for bullpen staff

• Assisting the Field supervisor in tracking various training matrixes for guards and the team leads.

• Maintaining Training Matrix and performing other responsibilities as per assigned by the client.

Qualifications for Commercial Security Shift Supervisor

• 1 to 3 years experience in security supervisor experience

• Excellent oral and written interpersonal skills (English an asset)

• Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

• Valid Alberta Security license and first aid card

• Must be able to work 4/4 - 2 12 hour day shifts & 2 12 hour night rotational shift

• Demonstrated ability to follow operational security measures, protect confidential information, and exercise good judgment and discretion

• Demonstrated comprehension of the Canadian Criminal Code and Trespass to Property Act powers of arrest

• Be eligible to work in Canada

• Must have strong customer service skills, mature attitude and professionalism

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment

• Leadership and mentorship skills

• Able to work in a team environment or independently as required
