Ensure the protection of individuals, property, and assets within the facilityEscort detainees within the premises using restraints as necessary for safetyDemonstrate empathy and compassion while working with individuals under stressObserve and monitor detainee behaviour and report concernsConduct regular foot patrols – both indoors and outdoorsUtilize security software and equipment effectivelyConduct frequent wellness checksGenerate accurate incident and daily reportsRespond swiftly to emergency situations using tactical de-escalation techniquesQualifications for Casual CBSA Transport Guard
Valid Alberta Security Guard LicenseValid First Aid Level 1 is required.Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.Must have resided in Canada for the past 5 yearsMust be able to drive compnay vehicle for longer hours.Have Clean driver's Abstract.High school diploma or equivalent (proof of education required)Able to pass Public Works Clearance and Vulnerable Sector CheckDemonstrated ability to act decisively in high-pressure situationsStrong communication and customer service skillsApply today – this could be more than a job! 26% of our corporate employees started as frontline workers.
