Program – PassagesPassages is a six‑bed live‑in program for youth ages 13–17 with status with Children’s Services. The program offers recreation, life‑skills and relationship‑based activities, with an average stay of 6–12 months.
Youth collaborate with their supports to identify strengths and growth areas, developing skills to facilitate a successful transition back to their family or a less intrusive placement as indicated by their case plan.
The program focuses on cultivating self‑worth and healthy relationships, providing a safe environment, individualized care plans, educational and recreational activities, and daily routines. Strong positive relationships are key to success.
The Position – Awake Overnight Youth and Family Support PractitionerThe Practitioner provides supervision and support to young people in the program, ensuring treatment plans are implemented. Responsibilities include assisting with daily household routines and chores, minor facility maintenance, direct youth support, and basic office applications for administrative and case‑management tasks.

- Strong communication and de‑escalation skills.
Applicants should have at least a degree/diploma in the Human Service field, experience with youth in a group living environment, trauma‑informed practice awareness, be professional, reliable, and able to work independently.
Other Qualifications- Current Standard First Aid and CPR
C. - Current Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sectors Designation.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 5 GDL not accepted) with a clear driving record.
