Easter Seals Alberta (ESA) is a provincial not‑for‑profit organization with over 70 years of experience providing services that foster inclusion, independence, and recreation for individuals with disabilities and medical conditions. As a Resource Coordinator reporting to the Family Resource Lead, you will deliver direct service support to the disability community, empowering families, caregivers, and professionals through resilience, independence, and inclusion.
Responsibilities- Serve as the central point of contact for individuals, caregivers, and professionals.
- Review, prioritize, and manage referrals and applications for PDD, FSCD, and Accessibility Supports programs.
- Guide participants through PDD & FSCD training programs.
- Arrange equipment loans, process documentation, and deliver equipment.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of client documents, service plans, progress notes, and correspondence.
- Seek internal and external consultations to provide the best possible support.
- Support families in navigating community resources and accessing financial assistance programs.
- Follow up to ensure timely access to information and resources.
- Identify resource gaps and communicate with the Family Resource Specialist.
- Provide emotional support, practical assistance, and linkage to services during crisis calls.
- Support virtual programs, disability travel card, and scholarship programs.
- General data entry and telephone answering.
- Attend events as required to support and promote the agency.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 1 year of experience in case management or support.
- Experience as a counsellor is an asset.
- Excellent communication, organization, and writing skills.
- Experience working in SharePoint is an asset.
- Experience with people with disabilities and chronic medical conditions is an asset.
- Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments.
- Team player who engages and motivates team members.
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Innovative thinking, flexible & change oriented.
- Translates “how we’re doing” data into “how we can make it better”.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Position is 35 hours/week, full‑time in‑office, requires a Clear Enhanced Police Information Check.
