Innovative mental health and job search programming for Albertans receiving Income Support.
Anchor Point is a comprehensive 16-week program designed to support Albertans receiving Income Support who would benefit from a structured, full-time program. Participants work closely with a dedicated job success coach and facilitator to develop mental health management strategies, build essential life skills, and receive personalized job search and employment coaching.
Anchor Point assists participants through the following:- In-depth assessment to identify needs
- Individualized and small-group support
- Mental health and resilience building
- Employment preparation and wellness workshops
- Job search assistance/direct job matching
You may be eligible to enroll if you are:
- Currently unemployed or underemployed (20 hours or less/week)
- Coping with diagnosed or self-diagnosed mental health challenges
- Currently receiving Income Support
- 18 years and older
