Application Developer

We are seeking a skilled Application Developer to architect and build robust, scalable iOS applications using Swift and Swift

UI. This role focuses on writing clean, maintainable code, optimizing app performance, mentoring team members, and leveraging AI tools to accelerate development. The position is full-time, on-site at our Calgary office a minimum of three days a week, and is expected to last at least one year.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and develop high-quality iOS applications using Swift and Swift
  
  UI.
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code with emphasis on performance and reliability.
• Utilize Apple APIs (e.g., Local Authentication, Common Crypto) to solve real-world problems.
• Optimize app performance through profiling tools and concurrency strategies.
• Mentor other developers and contribute to shaping the technical culture.
• Integrate AI tools to enhance workflow without replacing core development skills.

• Strong computer science fundamentals: memory management, data structures, algorithms, and concurrency.
• Deep expertise in iOS development including UIKit, Swift
  
  UI, and Apple ecosystem frameworks.
• Experience designing modular and testable systems, with understanding of architectural patterns like MVC and MVVM.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, app signing, provisioning, Instruments, and app lifecycle management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think deeply about engineering challenges and communicate technical decisions clearly.

• Awareness or experience with Android app development.
