Neo Financial is seeking an accomplished, versatile Senior Mobile Engineer to join our team in Calgary. This senior role demands deep technical expertise and architectural leadership across our complex, multi‑platform ecosystem, which includes native iOS (Swift/Swift

UI), native Android (Kotlin/Jetpack Compose), and React Native (Type Script) applications.

You will own core features from concept to deployment, driving architectural decisions, mentoring junior and intermediate engineers, and ensuring the delivery of polished, performant, and highly‑rated mobile experiences  will be a champion for engineering excellence, performance optimisation, and advanced CI/CD strategies.

• Architectural Ownership:
  Define, implement, and maintain the cross‑platform mobile architecture to ensure scalability, reliability, and security across iOS, Android, and React Native.
• Technical Leadership:
  Act as a subject‑matter expert in complex mobile domains and mentor intermediate engineers.
• Performance Engineering:
  Lead optimisation efforts to achieve exceptional app performance, startup times, memory efficiency, and network latency.
• Advanced Multi‑Platform Development:
  Design and implement reusable, high‑quality features and components using Swift/Swift
  
  UI, Kotlin/Jetpack Compose, and Type Script/React Native.
• Dev Ops & Automation:
  Drive improvements and ownership of our CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
• Cross‑Functional Strategy:
  Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend engineering leads.
• Quality & Standards:
  Elevate the standard for code quality by performing rigorous code reviews and promoting test‑driven development.

• 6+ years of full‑time professional experience in architecting, building, and scaling high‑traffic, customer‑facing mobile applications.
• Proven track record in a Technical Leadership or Mentorship role.
• Expert‑level proficiency in one or more core mobile stacks (Native iOS, Native Android, or Cross‑Platform).
• Advanced proficiency with Graph
  
  QL and mobile security best practices.
• Mastery of CI/CD tools and the app release lifecycle.
• Must be an Architectural Thinker—able to design scalable, maintainable, and secure long‑term systems.
• Must be a Results‑Driven Owner, thriving on taking full ownership of complex, ambiguous problems in a fast‑paced environment.

Must be eligible to work in Canada and willing to relocate to Calgary.
