Automotive Technician

This position maintains a diverse range of equipment, including delivery vehicles, heavy‑duty machinery, road tractors, and trailers from various manufacturers. The role involves troubleshooting and maintaining/repairing hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electronics, and engines, as well as performing other tasks as requested.

• Repair all UPS vehicles.
• Perform PMI inspections and conduct required repairs and maintenance.
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained regularly and in a timely manner.

• Able to lift up to 70 lb.
• Willing to work evening and/or night shifts.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Possession of a valid Red Seal license (310T or 310S) or willingness to complete an apprenticeship.
• Possession of essential trade tools and equipment.
• Clean driver’s abstract/record (must have been obtained within the last month before interview).
• No violations for the current year (last 12 months) and no more than two violations for the previous 3‑year period.
• No accidents and no more than five demerit points for the previous 3‑year period.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Must pass a pre‑employment road test.

• Job Type: Full‑time, Permanent, Hourly.
• Must be able to work a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Starting Pay: $36 per hour for licensed holders.
