Experience

3 years to less than 5 years.

On site only; work must be completed at the physical location. No option to work remotely.

Work setting:
Relocation costs not covered by employer.

Responsibilities

• Operate buses, school buses or streetcars to transport passengers.
• Report delays, mechanical problems and accidents.
• Load and unload vehicle.
• Direct passengers during emergency evacuation procedures.
• Complete logbooks and reports.
• Ensure children's safety when boarding and leaving buses and crossing street while bus is stopped.
• Perform pre‑trip, en route and post‑trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle.

Credentials

• Provincial or Territorial Commercial Vehicle licence (Class 4 or
  
  E).

Experience and Specialization

• Tour and charter bus driver.

Transportation / Travel Experience

• Local.
• Regional.
