Purpose of Position:
To maintain conduct of passengers on bus, help ensure safety of passengers, and assist passengers in getting on and off the bus, or with walking to a bus stop.

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Exhibit highest ethical practices and personal integrity; report suspicious or inappropriate behavior.
• Pass a pre‑employment physical examination.
• Attend and pass all pre‑employment and ongoing training as required.
• Attend all Company safety meetings.
• Report to work on time.
• Lift and operate equipment, including seat belts, tie‑downs, harnesses, wheelchair clamps.
• Lift, close bus doors daily, and assist passengers boarding and exiting.
• Evacuate bus in emergency situations and physically aid passengers.
• Use tact and diplomacy with students, parents, and school personnel.
• Ensure passengers are safely seated while the bus is in motion.
• Manage student behaviour by exercising communication and discipline per Company policies, and report incidents immediately.
• Practice safe work habits to prevent accidents; report all accidents, incidents, and concerns immediately.
• Complete all paperwork, including route‑change sheets and timecards, in a timely manner.
• Assist in keeping the Company vehicle neat and clean.
• Contact parents of passengers if instructed by the Company.
• Conduct child checks to ensure no students are left behind on the school bus.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Company.
• Adhere to Company standards in conduct and customer service, following all policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and local CSC directions.

• Lift up to 25 lbs when handling equipment or closing doors.
• Carry up to 50 lbs when loading/unloading passengers.
• Pull or push arms while operating vehicle and evacuating passengers.
• Reach above shoulder height and at shoulder height to assist passengers.
• Kneel, squat, or crouch frequently during operations.
• Stand or walk while in vehicle and during safety evacuations.
• Climb up to 36‑inch height for routine checks.
• Move and rotate neck, shoulders, and legs as needed.

Part‑time, Day Job, Regular employee status, No travel required.
