ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and suppliers.

Respond to both external and internal client inquiries.

Coordinate and oversee daily trucking operations, ensuring timely and efficient freight movement.

Support airfreight operations, including documentation, bookings, and airline coordination.

Communicate with vendors/suppliers regarding dispatch, routing, pricing, and rates.

Prepare documentation for Truck shipments , and customs clearance processes.

Monitor shipments from pickup to delivery, providing proactive updates to clients.

Seek the most profitable mode of shipment while meeting client requirements.

Recommend process improvements to reduce costs and maximize profitability.

Handle exceptions and resolve issues related to delays or service failures.

Maintain accurate records and support invoicing.

Perform other duties as assigned.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Talking, hearing and using hands to operate computer equipment

Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus

Job may require extended sitting or standing, use of standard office equipment.

Job will require regular and punctual attendance as well as presence on-site at the assigned work location.

OTHER SKILLS/ABILITIES

Minimum 3 years of experience in trucking operations.

Some experience in airfreight logistics (preferred).

Strong knowledge of transportation documentation and regulatory compliance.

Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Career-oriented, detail-focused, and quick learner.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Three to five years of related experience.

At least two year of industry-specific experience preferred.

CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSES

Professional certification may be required in some areas.
