Personal Banker

The Person al Banker position combines both client service responsibilities with the added focus of assisting clients in opening and managing accounts. This role is critical in ensuring that clients receive seamless, high-quality service across all touchpoints of their banking experience. This role will provide personalized support, promote the bank’s services, and help build lasting client relationships, all while adhering to operational policies, procedures and compliance standards.

A Personal Banker provides the opportunity to make an impact both on clients and the overall performance of the branch.

• Open new personal and business accounts (checking, savings, CDs, and other services) by gathering required documentation, completing applications, and ensuring compliance with bank policies and regulations.
• Assist clients in account maintenance, such as address changes, wire transfers, and other updates.
• Address client inquiries and provide solutions related to products, services, and account management.
• Proactively identify client needs and make appropriate recommendations for bank products, services, and solutions (e.g., loans, credit cards, online banking).
• Accurately process CSR transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, and cash advances.
• Balance cash drawer at the end of each shift, ensuring all transactions are recorded correctly.
• Support clients with basic transactional services such as money orders, cashier's checks, and other routine banking services.
• Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner, building trust and rapport to foster long-term relationships.
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell and refer bank products and services based on client needs.
• Meet or exceed branch sales and service targets by actively participating in sales campaigns, product promotions, and client outreach efforts.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
• Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and operational controls to minimize risk and ensure accuracy.
• Handle confidential client information with integrity and maintain confidentiality in all aspects of the role.
• Assist with general branch operations and administrative tasks as needed, including maintaining clean and organized branch environment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and positive client experience.
• Participate in branch meetings and training sessions to stay informed on product updates, compliance changes, and client service best practice.

Compensation: Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, education, skills, qualifications, internal equity, and applicable market data.
