Welcome to Medivet Calne – a friendly, well‑equipped practice located in the heart of the stunning Wiltshire countryside.

We’re looking for a passionate Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our welcoming team on a full‑time basis (40 hours per week + 1 in 4 Saturdays).

As a Nurse you will be accountable for the clinical delivery of nurse‑led appointments and will support the Vet with procedures as required, ensuring we deliver exceptional care to our clients, patients and colleagues while maintaining the highest regulatory and operational standards and compliance.

Role Accountabilities

Exceptional care is at the heart of everything we do t’s the care for our patients, our clients and for each other – we want to make a positive difference through every interaction we have.

In This Role You Will
  • Consistently deliver exceptional care to your clients.
  • Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre‑ and post‑procedure activity.
  • Carry out nurse‑led appointments and schedule 3 activities.
  • Deliver patient monitoring and care.
  • Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team.
  • Complete patient transfers to out‑of‑hours or enhanced care.
  • Dispense and check medication.
  • Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards.
  • Hold briefings to engage and co‑ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice.
Your Skills And Experience
  • RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse.
  • Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care.
  • Effective teamwork skills.
  • Experience supporting nurse consults, understanding how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency.
  • Coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague.
