Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Our client is a precision engineering company specializing in the manufacture of high-quality, precision-machined metal components they work within the aerospace, defence, automotive, oil & gas, and nuclear sectors they are looking for a Manufacturing Engineering manager who can Manage all aspects of manufacturing engineering for our client and coordinate the transfer of work between the group. Main duties and responsibilities:
Manufacturing engineering support for all Project Engineers as required for new estimates/quotes Manufacturing engineering support for new product introductions:
Generation of manufacturing plan Generation of PFMEA Generation of risk assessment Routings Fixtures and tooling Coordinate and manage the transfer of machining work between our client's businesses Support the facilities requirements including buildings, plant and equipment Support the Engineering, Operations and Quality functions with root cause analysis and problem solving Customer NCR's Supplier quality/delivery issues Support Management System improvements and introductions as required

Job Requirements Proven experience in manufacturing engineering within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities. Ability to work proactively with Engineering, Operations and Quality teams. Benefits Company Pension Bonus Onsite parking
