The Role
Our client is a respected construction company with over 40 years of experience, specializing in concrete flooring products and services. Known across Ontario for delivering durable and innovative solutions, they’ve built a strong reputation for quality and reliability. Their Cambridge-based team is collaborative, supportive, and dedicated to excellence on every project.
They are currently seeking a Senior Project Estimator to join their team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in the bidding and estimating process, working closely with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The ideal candidate will bring at least 5 years of estimating experience, strong technical expertise, and the confidence to manage multiple projects at once.
This is a full-time, on-site position in Cambridge. The role also requires weekly visits to job sites across the territory.

Prepare detailed cost estimates, proposals, and quotations for multiple construction projects weeklyConduct site surveys and liaise with clients, vendors, and project managers once a weekAnalyze drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to prepare accurate take-offsUse Plan Swift and Excel to develop estimatesManage budgets, timelines, and cost controls throughout the project lifecycleCollaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure projects are scoped and priced effectivelyRequirements
5+ years of hands-on estimating experience in the construction industryProven ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsStrong cost management, budgeting, and analytical skillsExcellent communication skills, able to work closely with both clients and internal teamsProficient in Plan Swift or Bluebeam or similar industry softwareIntermediate to advanced Excel skillsDegree/diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)#INDSTRIVEON
